Nathan Taylor

3 x Ironman World Championship Qualifier. 1 x Ironman Age Group Winner

I found the Lorne Training camp last year really beneficial. It was perfect timing to build strength and fitness for my campaign to complete at the Ironman World Championships. Hanging out with other likeminded athletes, made for a fun, enjoyable and challenging weekend. I highly recommend if you want to kick start your summer triathlon build.

The specific session I found the most valuable was both bike rides. I really enjoyed them as they were both beneficial in building strength and endurance as they were over hilly terrain, having other athletes with similar abilities made the rides challenging and enjoyable. Day 1 was a 3 to 5 hour ride over a hilly Otway terrain. Day 2 as an individual Time Trial up a 10km hill.

I enjoyed dedicating my weekend to improving my triathlon skills & fitness. I highly recommend it. It was great to be with other athletes, and being able to switch off from normal day to day routine.

The location, convenience and cost of the camp was perfect for me.

 - First Timer

I found the Lorne Training camp last year was a great introduction for me into triathlon training and learning. It was perfect timing for me.
I came to the camp on a borrowed bike and rode in running shoes - by the end of the camp I was mastering the skill of riding in bike shoes and clip in pedals with the guidance of the Beckworth Racing coaches Adam Beckworth and Anthony Goss. They are very knowledgeable, kind, considerate and really easy to get along with.

Throughout the whole camp Beckworth Racing Team were supportive and encouraging even though I did not participate in all the sessions. It was just an enjoyable weekend being around them all and the people who attended.
